Privacy Policy

Doom Warden is a focus and digital wellbeing app provided by StatWave. This policy explains how the app handles your information.

Information stored on your device

Doom Warden stores the information needed to run the app, including:

• The apps, categories, and websites you select through Apple's Family Controls picker. Apple gives Doom Warden opaque tokens, not app names or browsing history.
• Your app-limit groups, schedules, focus sessions, catches, redirects, and companion progress.
• Your settings and a local copy of your subscription status.

The main app and its extensions share this information through an Apple App Group on your device. Doom Warden does not turn Family Controls tokens into app names or bundle identifiers.

Information sent off your device

Doom Warden does not operate an account server, analytics service, advertising service, or cloud database for the launch version. The app does not upload your Screen Time selections, app usage, browsing history, focus history, or companion progress.

Apple processes purchases, subscription status, and Family Controls authorization under Apple's privacy policy. Doom Warden reads the subscription status Apple provides so it can unlock paid features.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, Doom Warden schedules focus and redirect reminders through Apple's notification system. Notification settings and pending local reminders stay under your control.

Tracking and advertising

Doom Warden does not use advertising identifiers, third-party advertising tools, or cross-app tracking.

Retention and deletion

Your Doom Warden data stays on your device until you delete it or remove the app. To erase it in the app:

1. Open Settings.
2. Open Profile & Plan.
3. Choose Delete local data.
4. Confirm the deletion.

Deleting Doom Warden data does not cancel an Apple subscription. You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings.

Children

Doom Warden is not designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when Doom Warden changes. We will post the new effective date on this page.
